About Hiring Santa Walter, Santa Charles, or Santa Steve

Santa Walter for In-N-Out

Returning to the Santa For Events team this season is Santa Walter’s brother, Santa Charles. (Yes, they really are brothers; and no they are not twins! Many people have asked!) Santa Charles is a retired psychotherapist while Santa Walter is a couple of years away from retirement as an elementary school teacher.

Santa is willing to come for any sort of special event. He can travel anywhere in Silicon Valley, Santa Clara County, the greater South Bay, Peninsula, Oakland area, Santa Cruz County, Monterey Peninsula, and Livermore Valley. His real beard, big smile, easy-going demeanor, the real cordovan boots and belt are always complimented by the guests. He is experienced with large crowds as well as small, intimate gatherings.

Santa Walter also sings, and has a prepared karaoke CD as background music to a few Christmas songs, if desired. He leads everyone in singing Christmas songs, even with jingle bells to ring. Also, Santa can recite the poem ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas’ and/or read several Santa stories with adults, families, or children. Many professional appearances have been with adults of all ages included in the photo sessions, in addition to children. In his day job he is an elementary school teacher (full fingerprint background clearance). Through his Membership-In-Good-Standing [MIGS] status with the Fraternal Order of Real Bearded Santas, Santa Walter and his companion Elves as well as Mrs. Claus are covered with a Certificate of Liability Insurance. A digital image is available.

Santa’s suggested published rates for bookings for 2009 remain in place for 2010 as well. Of course, with the 100% Client Satisfaction Guarantee in place, the actual final pay envelope as Santa is leaving is entirely up to the client.

The published rates brief overview (which covers an extensive array of overhead expenses) are:

• $235 for an hour with Santa and a helper, either Mrs. Claus or a companion Elf; $165 for an additional hour of Santa and his Elf or Mrs. Claus; $125 for the 3rd consecutive hour and each following.
• $195 for 40 minutes of Elf or Mrs. Claus and Santa for a larger group or more activities
• $165 for 30 minutes of Santa and an Elf or Mrs. Claus for a smaller party

• $275 for 80 minutes of Santa and Mrs. Claus for a small company or large family party
• $325 for 100 minutes of Santa and Elf or Mrs. Claus
• $400 for 2 hours of Santa and helper
• $525 for 3 hours of Santa and helper
• $650 for 4 hours of Santa and helper

• $100 for an hour with Mrs. Claus telling stories, entertaining, posing for photos, and singing with small children

Adult coordinating and entertaining elves are also available for $75 per hour. Mrs. Claus Mary Jo is a fabulous storyteller and entertainer to help make the event an outstanding success. Elf Heather brings or supplies crafts; children are entertained with  cookie decorating, storytelling, goody-bags, and photo services, and this year we will be adding face painting with Elf Mae and Elf Desiree.
