Santa Bench

Santa For Events Bench
Santa Walter and Santa For Events have found that a light-weight, portable Santa Bench or Santa Chair solves some problems before they happen. How many Santas have visited an event and found the chair to be inadequate? While the client does the best they can to make Santa’s visit a big splash, often the seating available is low, soft, casual; in short, less than adequate. The basic unit is the Santa Bench; but there is an option to have arms on the bench seat to make it into a chair.
The bench or chair back is made using foam-core construction for weight reduction, and has casters on the back at the bottom that allows it to be wheeled into the room. The back is 62 inches tall and 30 inches wide while the seat cushion is 18 inches by 32 inches. For travel, the seat comes off and the seat supports hinge flat. One person can manage it easily, usually an elf or Mrs. Claus. The whole bench weighs just less than 40 pounds yet lays flat in a SUV, hatchback, or station wagon.
Based on feedback that others may be interested as well, Santa Walter is showing off the portable Santa bench at the FORBSantas Annual Luncheon, January 30, 2010. Free brochures will be available, plans on how to make it will be available for a nominal charge. It is possible to make one with a removable back; however, it is more complicated and more expensive to build. The first photo shows Santa Charles and Mrs. MaryJo Claus using the chair. Additional photos will be coming along soon!
